Summary:
When you update an existing file in Microsoft Works and the only change you make to the file is to link text columns (in Draw mode), Works will not display the prompt “Save changes to (filename) ?” if you choose Close from the File menu or click the Close box in the upper-left corner of the window. To save your changes, choose Save from the File menu before closing the document.
If you turn off Draw or click outside the text box before closing the document, the text will be saved.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works version 2.00. This problem was corrected in Works version 2.00a.
