The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Works 4.0, text that is copied from a Word Processor document and pasted into a Draw document retains its formatting. This is an improvement from Works 2.0 and 3.0, which do not retain formatting of text pasted into the text layer of a Draw document.

In Microsoft Works versions 2.0 and 3.0, the Text tool (in Draw mode) does not support all of the paragraph formats supported by the Word Processor module. Text that has paragraph formatting, such as margin indents, spacing, or justification, does not transfer directly to the Draw layer in these earlier versions of Works.

Items entered using the Text tool can be formatted with their own justification within the text object area.
