The information in this article applies to: |
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 1.x and 2.0 |
SUMMARY
The following problems may occur in the Communications portion of Microsoft Works:
- It may not dial properly.
- The Echo commands may not work properly.
- The repeat dialing code may not work correctly.
MORE INFORMATION
Although these are not documented problems, they are the type of problems inherent with a modem that is not 100-percent Hayes compatible. These features work correctly with 100-percent Hayes-compatible modems and frequently work properly with other modems (such as the Apple Personal Modem) that are not 100-percent Hayes compatible. However, Microsoft cannot speculate why modems that are not 100-percent Hayes compatible may not respond properly.
