SUMMARY

Use the following procedure to print only the footnotes in a Word document:

Word version 5.5, 6.0

  1. Go to the beginning of the footnote text.
  2. Press the F8 to turn on Extend.
  3. Highlight the footnotes.
  4. From the File menu, choose Print (ALT, F, P), select Page Range (ALT+A), and choose Selection from the drop down list box.
  5. Press the ENTER key to print.

Word version 5.0 and prior

  1. Go to the beginning of the footnote text.
  2. Press F6 to turn on Extend.
  3. Highlight the footnotes.
  4. In the Print Options “range:” field, choose Selection and press ENTER.
  5. Choose Print Printer.
