====================================================================== 4.00 MACINTOSH kbusage SUMMARY ======= ———————————————————————- The information in this article applies to:

  • == Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0 ==

In Page View, if you choose Open Header or Open Footer from the Document menu, Word does not bring up the same window that Galley View uses to access an icon bar for inserting the current time, date, or page number.

To access these options, use one of the following methods:

  1. Return to Galley view and choose the appropriate Open Header or Open Footer command from the Document menu.

  2. From the Edit menu, choose Commands, select the desired option from the list, and click Do (or insert the appropriate glossary entry). The corresponding commands in the Commands dialog box are as follows:

Insert Date Insert Time Insert Page Number

To apply the “Same as Previous” header in Page View, select the entire header and press the DELETE (or BACKSPACE) key. When you scroll down and back, or exit and reenter Page View, the previous header will be displayed.
