SUMMARY

Microsoft has defined several new PostScript variables in versions 4.0 and 5.0 of Microsoft Word for the Macintosh. These variables are as follows:

Variable Refers to the Following ——– ———————–

wp$xorig The left edge of the drawing rectangle.

wp$yorig The bottom edge of the drawing rectangle. These two variables can be the origin back to the bottom left edge of the page. For example:

                 wp$xorig neg wp$yorig translate

wp$style The name of the style for the paragraph to which the PostScript will apply. Available with .para. and .cell. groups.

wp$first The first indent for the paragraph to which the PostScript will apply. Available with .para. and .cell. groups.
