SUMMARY
When a printing problem occurs where the last line of text is repeated on the following page, or, if formatted for two columns of text, the last line of the first column is repeated at the top of the second column, side-by-side paragraph formatting is being used in a situation where there are no intended side-by-side paragraphs.
We recommend that you first look for the side-by-side formatting occurring in a style sheet, if used. If a style sheet is not being used, look for manual paragraph formatting (in Format Paragraph) for those paragraphs not intended to be side by side.
MORE INFORMATION
To remove the side-by-side formatting in a style sheet, do the following:
- Press ESC and choose Gallery.
- Highlight the paragraph style being applied.
- From the Format menu, choose Paragraph.
- Select “No” in the “side by side:” field.
- Press ENTER.
- Choose Exit to return to the document.
