SYMPTOMS
When you use Outlook Web Access (OWA) and you view the Contacts public folder, the Move and Copy buttons are enabled. However, these buttons are not enabled when you view other public folders.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you are using OWA with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape Navigator 4.x.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
MORE INFORMATION
You are able to move or copy items from the Contacts public folder to another folder without any problems. However, because this functionality is unavailable with other public folders, it should also not be available in the Contacts public folder.
