SYMPTOMS
When you hot-dock or hot-undock your computer, the hardware detection routine may not be initiated. Device Manager may not be updated until you quit and restart Device Manager.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you leave the Hardware Profiles window open when you hot-dock or hot-undock your computer.
RESOLUTION
Close the Hardware Profiles window before you hot-dock or hot-undock your computer.
