- Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 5
This article was previously published under Q255495
When you configure a computer running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition as a member server of a domain and a user with Terminal Server user settings on a trusted domain attempts to log on, the user does not receive the settings.
Terminal Server settings, such as initial program and Terminal Server Profile path are not obtained at logon although the logon succeeds.
This issue occurs because Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server is unable to resolve a domain controller for the trusted domain.
