CTRL+ALT+DELETE Not Required by Default in Windows 2000 Professional

Windows 2000 Professional does not require the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination to gain access to the login dialog box. This feature is designed to make it easier for users to get started with Windows 2000. This article provides information about how to configure your computer to require users to press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to gain access to the login dialog box.
To require users to press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to gain access to the login dialog box:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click User And Passwords, click to select the Require user to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete before logging on check box on the Advanced tab, and then click OK.
