Microsoft KB Archive/255078
Document Not Printed and No Error Message Received
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
When you print a document, it may appear in the print queue but never be printed out. Also, you receive no error message, and there is no error in the event log.
This problem can occur if the logical drive that Windows 2000 is using for spooling print jobs has run out of disk space.
To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
- Change the spool directory to a drive that has more free space.
- Delete unused files on the logical drive used for spooling print jobs.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
