SYMPTOMS
When you use the Showmbrs tool in the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit to view the members of a universal group, the output only lists members whose accounts are in the same domain as the universal group.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because users in other domains within the forest are not shown in the output of the Showmbrs tool.
RESOLUTION
To view the members of a universal group, you must use the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC Snap-In.
