MACINTOSH

Summary:

Microsoft Works sometimes produces a System error or prints random dots when the Print Window command is chosen from the File menu. If the color options are used on the Macintosh II when printing to an Imagewriter II, the screen dumps generated by the Print Window command will not print as expected. An expanded image of part of the screen will be printed instead of the entire image. This is a result of using 2, 4, or 16 bits per pixel instead of 1 bit as in black-and-white mode. To correct this problem, do the following:

  1. From the Apple menu, choose Control Panel.
  2. Click the Monitor icon.
  3. Select Black And White for the color.
  4. Return to the document and choose Print Window from the File menu.
