SUMMARY

This article describes how to configure Microsoft Outlook 2000 and Microsoft Outlook 98 to send and receive e-mail by using your CompuServe 2000, version 5.0 account (CS2000). CS2000 now uses Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) for e-mail.

Note: Accounts bound by SecurID cannot be accessed via IMAP. This article applies only to CS2000, which uses e-mail addresses of the format x@cs.com. This article does not apply to Classic CompuServe or other versions of CompuServe, which use such addresses as x@cis.com or vx@compuserve.com.
