SUMMARY
Windows 2000 does not contain an equivalent to the the Network Client Administrator tool that is included with Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0. The Network Client Administrator tool is used to create a MS-DOS network startup disk.It is possible to run the Network Client Administrator tool for the x86 platform in Windows 2000.

Setting up the Network Client Administrator Program
- Create a folder called C:\Ncadmin.
- Copy the following files from the I386 folder on the Windows NT Server 4.0 CD-ROM to the folder you created:
Ncadmin.cn_
Ncadmin.ex_
Ncadmin.hl_NOTE: You may need the
CDROM letter
:\Clients folder from the Windows NT 4.0 CD-ROM.
- At a command prompt, change to the C:\Ncadmin folder, and then type the following command:
expand -r ncadmin.*
- Double-click Ncadmin.exe, and then follow the instructions for creating a Network Installation Startup Disk.
