SYMPTOMS
When you save your document, the following error message may appear:
where <filename> is the name of the file that you are trying to save.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
You click a hyperlink to a Microsoft Word document.
-and-
The document opens in Internet Explorer.
-and-
You are running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 on one of the following platforms:
- Microsoft Windows 95
- Microsoft Windows 98
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
