SYMPTOMS

When you are using an Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) network adapter in an IBM SelectaDock III docking station, network resources may be unavailable after you place the computer in Standby mode (by clicking Start, clicking Shut Down, and then clicking Stand By), and then resume the computer (or wake it up).

When this occurs, Device Manager may display an exclamation point (!) in a yellow circle and a status of "Code 10" for the network adapter.

This problem has been reproduced with the following network adapter:

  • IBM 10Base-T WOL Etherjet ISA adapter

This problem does not occur with peripheral component interconnect (PCI) adapters.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, restart your computer.
