SYMPTOMS
After you follow the manufacturer's instructions for performing a "warm" reset on your Pocket PC, you may not be able to start Microsoft Windows Media Player.
CAUSE
This behavior can be caused by a missing Default.skn file.
RESOLUTION
The Default.skn file is located in the Windows folder on the device. This file is a skin layout file; it is one of the components responsible for the user interface (UI) in Windows Media Player. If the Default.skn file does exist in the Windows folder, check to make sure that the Default shortcut file is located in the Program Files\Windows Media Player folder on the device.
If either of the files is missing, you must perform a "cold" or "hard" reset on the device. For information about performing this reset, please consult the device's documentation or manufacturer.
