SUMMARY
When you use Microsoft PowerPoint on a computer with multiple monitors, running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, you cannot choose the monitor on which to display the slide show.
MORE INFORMATION
Dual Matrox Millennium PCI display adapters are the only supported dual-monitor configuration on Windows NT 4.0. This configuration requires a special device driver that you can only obtain from Matrox.
The following third-party software and hardware enable multiple monitor support under Windows NT 4.0:
- Color Graphics
- STB Inc. MVP-2X
- Altex Electronics
- Intergraph
These solutions are often a single display adapter that routes the output to multiple VGA ports on an external device.
The third-party products that are discussed in this article are manufactured by companies that are independent of Microsoft. Microsoft makes no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding the performance or reliability of these products.
