SUMMARY
Microsoft Narrator, an accessibility tool running on Windows 2000 that reads aloud information on your screen, including dialog box names, menus, and contents, may not identify field titles or menu items correctly.
For example, the Narrator may make the following errors when reading text in a dialog box option that includes a text box with an attached list box:
- The Narrator reads the Sort By drop-down list as "Combobox invisible combobox."
- When you sort by Name or Size, the Narrator reads these options as "Question mark, <unintelligible>, list item."
