SYMPTOMS

When you try to start one of the programs listed in the "Applies to" section of this article, you may receive one of the following error messages:

Empires2 has executed an invalid instruction in Empires2.icd.

Empires2 has executed an invalid instruction in Empires2.exe.

Pandora has executed an invalid instruction in Pandora.icd.

Pandora has executed an invalid instruction in Pandora.exe.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if one of the following Cyrix microprocessors is installed in your computer:

  • Cyrix 486DX
  • Cyrix 6x86
  • Cyrix MediaGX


MORE INFORMATION

The Cyrix processors mentioned in this article are not compatible with the programs listed at the beginning of this article.
