When your Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)-based computer resumes from standby mode, the computer's status light-emitting diode (LED) may indicate that it is in a suspended state for a few seconds after it has already resumed.
This behavior can occur with a small number of laptop computers with Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) enabled in the BIOS.
It is not necessary to attempt to wake the computer from standby mode again.
