OL2000: (CW) Revised Custom Form in Public Folder Ignores Expiration Time

SYMPTOMS

If you revise the contents of a custom form that has a set expiration time and repost it to a public folder, the item is not deleted from the folder once the expiration time passes.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

To temporarily work around this problem click Save on the File menu before reposting your custom form to the public folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.
