Schdist.exe Gets Caught in Endless Loop of "Sent Resend Requests"

SYMPTOMS

Schedule+ distribution agent (Schdist.exe) cannot process free and busy information from the Microsoft Exchange Server computer, so it gets caught in a loop of "sent resend requests" back to the Exchange Server computer.

Other problems with Schdist.exe may be occurring such as Schdist.exe crashing with the following General Protection Error:

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
