SUMMARY

To insert text in a box drawn with the cursor line-draw feature (CTRL+F5) in Word versions 4.00 and 5.00, use overtype mode (F5).

In Word version 5.50, access the line-draw feature by selecting Utilities Line Draw (ALT, U, L). To insert the text within a box drawn using the line-draw feature, select overtype mode (ALT+F5). The letters OT appear at the bottom of the Word 5.50 screen in the status line.
