SYMPTOMS
When you save a workbook as a Web page, Microsoft Excel quits without saving the workbook, and you receive the following error message in Windows 2000:
This error log is named Drwtsn32.log. The log contains an entry similar to the following:
Application exception occurred: App: (pid=724) When: 1/26/2000 @ 18:28:47.060 Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- The workbook has become corrupted.
-and-
- You save the workbook as a Web page.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
