Unable to Use Internet Connection Sharing with PPPoE Access Manager Program

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), it may not work correctly on the host computer or on the client computer. Also, you may receive a time out error message, or your network adapter may not be recognized.



CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are using the Canadian Internet Service Provider (ISP), Sympatico. ICS is not supported with their PPPoE Access Manager program.
