SYMPTOMS

When you run Microsoft Home Publishing 2000, you may receive the following error message:

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

When you click Details, you receive the following error message:

Hpub caused an invalid page fault in module Itss.dll

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if one of the following conditions is true:

  • Your CD-ROM drive is unable to read the Home Publishing 2000 CD-ROM properly.
  • Your HTML Help files are missing or damaged.
