SYMPTOMS
When you click the Bookshelf icon on the menu bar to start Microsoft Bookshelf 98 for Macintosh, your computer may appear to stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you run Bookshelf 98 on a blue and white Apple Power Macintosh G3.
NOTE: This issue does not occur when you run Bookshelf 98 on an Apple Power Macintosh G4.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods to start Bookshelf 98.
Method 1
Double-click the Bookshelf 98 program icon on your hard disk.
Method 2
Make an alias of the Bookshelf 98 icon, drag it to the desktop, and then double-click this Bookshelf 98 alias icon to start the program.
Method 3
Click the Bookshelf 98 icon on the menu bar, and then wait until the Bookshelf 98 window is displayed. This process may take two to three minutes.
