SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to use the symbols for the German version of Windows 2000, the following two symbol files are missing and may cause problems when you debug the program:
- Inetpp.sym
- Oleprn.sym
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use the US symbols from the corresponding US version of the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
The files are located at
CD-ROM:\clients\win9xipp.cli\symbols\inetpp.sym
CD-ROM:\clients\win9xipp.cli\symbols\oleprn.sym
where CD-ROM is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
