To back up the Zone information, use Registry Editor to export the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones


To save the specific security settings in the Security Zones export the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap


To restore the Zone information either double-click the registry file that you exported, use Registry Editor to import the registry file.
