SYMPTOMS
On a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, when you initially view the properties of a disabled device in Device Manager and then click Enable Device, the Device Wizard does not start and the property sheet closes as if you clicked OK.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, enable the Enable Device button by pressing the TAB key to cycle through all the items in the dialog box.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional.
