SYMPTOMS
After you install Internet Explorer 5 and the Microsoft Windows 95 Year 2000 Update on a computer running Windows 95 with a 3Com 3C905 network adapter installed, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using the 3Com 3C905 EtherDisk XL driver version 1.1.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain and install the latest version of the 3C905 driver from 3Com. You can obtain the driver from the following 3Com Web site:
