WD2000: Grammar Checker Does Not Suggest Commas After Days

Article ID: 246338

When you click Spelling and Grammar on the Tools menu, the grammar checker does not suggest commas after the days.

For example, type the following sentence:

In addition, I will be on vacation from Monday October 25 through Friday October 29th.

When you perform a grammar check, commas are not suggested after the words Monday and Friday.

To work around this problem, manually insert commas where appropriate.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Word 2000.
