This article lists the ATM topologies supported by NetShow Theater Server.

Theater Server supports the following ATM topologies:
- Classical IP (CLIP) over ATM as specified in RFC1577. With this ATM topology the Quality Of Service, (QOS) is retained.
- Local Area Network Emulation (LANE) over ATM as specified in the ATM Forums LAN Emulation over ATM version 1.0 standard. (See http://www.atmforum.com for a copy of this standard.) Generally, with this ATM topology, the quality of service guarantee is not retained.
- ATM connections of switched virtual circuits (SVCs). Private Virtual Circuits are very difficult to maintain with NTS ATM Multi-Point to Point protocol.
