When attempting to start Microsoft Outlook 97, you may get the following error message:

Cannot start the reminder services. Unable to show reminders. The file <path and filename>.pst could not be accessed because another workstation has modified it. Close then restart all mail enabled applications.

Either a corrupted service in the profile or too many services in the profile may cause this problem.

Create a new profile and add the services back one at a time, testing between each.
