SYMPTOMS
When you open a Microsoft Excel workbook that contains a Microsoft Graph object, the object may be displayed differently than in earlier versions of Excel. When you print the worksheet, the contents of the Microsoft Graph object may be printed differently than in earlier versions of Excel.
The chart appears compressed when it is surrounded by other objects; the chart appears slightly enlarged when it is not surrounded by other objects. When the chart appears compressed, some labels do not appear in the chart.
CAUSE
This problem may occur because Excel 97 uses a different process for drawing objects. This process may cause objects that are created in the earlier versions of Excel to be resized.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft Excel 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
