SYMPTOMS
When you share a folder on the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer by right-clicking the folder on the Favorites menu, and then clicking Sharing, the folder icon does not change to indicate that the folder is shared.
RESOLUTION
To determine if a folder is shared, follow these steps:
- In Internet Explorer, right-click the folder on the Favorites menu.
- Click Sharing on the menu that appears. If the Share As option is selected, the folder is shared.
- Click Cancel to close the folder's properties.
