In Microsoft Money, you can allocate lots when you enter a Sell, Remove Shares, or Cover Short transaction. The method for doing so depends on which version of Money you are using.
Method for Money 99
In Money 99, use the right mouse button to click (right-click) the Sell, Remove Shares, or Cover Short transaction. On the shortcut menu click Reallocate Lots.
Method for Money 98
In Money 98 there is no simple way to reallocate the lot assignments. You must delete the original transaction and enter a new one. Be sure to carefully select the correct lots in the Allocate Lots dialog box.
For more information on lots and correcting lot allocations refer to the "To correct the lot designation of shares sold" topic (under Lots) in Money Online Help.
