SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project, when you save a file, a shortcut will not be placed in the Documents folder. (On the Windows Start menu, point to Documents.) In contrast, if you double-click a Microsoft Project document, a shortcut will be placed in the Documents folder.
WORKAROUND
To place a Microsoft Project file in the Documents folder, double-click the file.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
