SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, if you use the Fit To scaling option it will override the option of Fit timescale to end of page and the page will be printed based on the Fit To scaling option only.
NOTE: To locate the Fit To option, click Page Setup on the File menu, and then click the Page tab. To locate the Fit timescale to end of page option, click Page Setup on the File menu, and then click the View tab.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you set both the Fit timescale to end of page option and the Fit To scaling option. In this case, the Fit To scaling option overrides the Fit timescale to end of page option and the printed output is adjusted by the percentage you specified.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
