When you try to run Internet Explorer, the following error message occurs:
This problem can occur if Internet Explorer is installed from media, either diskettes or CD-ROM, that has been corrupted. Media can be corrupted by exposure to magnetic material or temperatures that do not meet or exceed the media's temperature restrictions.
To work around this problem, perform the following steps:
- Remove the current version of Internet Explorer.
- Copy the customized Internet Explorer build from the build destination to new media.
- Reinstall Internet Explorer using the new media.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in IEAK version 3.2a. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
