- Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit 3.2a
This article was previously published under Q172130
Before the setup of Internet Explorer and other components is complete, a dialog prompting for reboot is displayed.
This problem occurs when you create a Corporate Internet Explorer customized build with all optional components selected on disk, and then run the Setup program from these disks on a Windows NT 4.0 computer.
To work around this problem, you must select a different media type (i.e. CD-ROM or Download) when using a Windows NT 4.0 computer as the destination computer.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer Administration Kit version 3.2a. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
