FIX: RDO May Incorrectly Handle Transaction Locking Conflicts
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Visual Basic Enterprise Edition for Windows, version 5.0
An RDO query cannot complete due to an uncommitted lock from a competing transaction. This may cause the query to hang rather than time out after the connection or query's QueryTimeout value.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been fixed in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 2.
