SUMMARY
There are two methods that allow you to scale animation (including animated Materials and Textures) - Sequence and Playcontrol.
Sequence is useful if your animation does not contain any constraints. If there are any in your animation, you must move them around or lengthen them in the DopeSheet.
-or-
Use the following Playcontrol method:
- Choose Playcontrol, and set the Playback Speed Frames per sec to 60.00, then check the Keep timing box. Click OK.
Again choose Playcontrol, and set the Playback Speed Frames per sec to 30.00, then uncheck the Keep timing box. Click OK.
If you check your f-curve it will shorten by half (30 / 60). This method does scale the DopeSheet activate and deactivate.
Reversing the Operation
To reverse the operation, do the following:
- Choose PlayControl, and change the Frames per sec to 15.0 with the Keep timing box checked. Click OK.
- Again choose PlayControl, and change the Frames per sec to 60.0 with the Keep timing box unchecked. This way you can scale the sequence back to its original setting.
