CAUSE

This problem occurs when your HTML document contains a background sound.

When you view an HTML document, Word uses Online Layout view by default. After you run the spelling checker, click Online Layout on the View menu to return to this view.

Method 2: Remove the Background Sound

Remove the background sound from the HTML document, run the spelling checker, and then re-add the background sound to the document.
