SYMPTOMS
Paste linked date fields between tasks may not match even after you force a recalulation of the project.
CAUSE
By design, Microsoft Project does not recalculate linked date fields if a task relationship, such as a Finish to Start relationship is assigned to the project. However, if there is no task relationship assigned to the project, then Microsoft Project 98/2000 recalculates the date field to be equal to the source field. In contrast, in earlier versions of Microsoft Project the same date appears in both fields when you recalulate the project.
