You are unable to open a Microsoft Project 4.0 or 4.1 macro located in a module if the module name contains more than 31 characters.
Shorten the module name to 31 or fewer characters. To change the name of the module, follow these steps:
- In Microsoft Project 4.0 or 4.1, point to More Views on the View menu, and then click Organizer.
- Click the Modules tab.
- In the Module list, click the module you want to rename, and click Rename.
- Enter a name that is 31 or fewer characters and then click OK.
- Click Close twice.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
