This article was previously published under Q170434

When you use Microsoft Chat in Comic Strip view with a display resolution of 640 x 480, the chat text may be too small to be readable.

Increase the font size in Microsoft Chat. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. On the View menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Comics View tab, and then click Change Font.
  3. In the Size box, click a larger font size than the one you are currently using.
  4. Click OK, and then click OK again.

Microsoft is aware of this situation and will post more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base when it becomes available.
